Adding it
With Pro active and Elementor 3.5 or newer, a JMarzTech category appears in the widget panel with one widget, JMarzTech Gallery. Drag it in and pick a saved display.
Content controls
| Saved display | Which display to render. Everything else is optional and overrides that display for this widget only. |
|---|---|
| Max items | A cap. Setting one turns pagination off, the same as the
limit attribute in a shortcode. |
| Media type | Everything, photos, or video. |
| Checkboxes for multi-download | Override the display’s download setting here. |
| Button label | The text on the download button. |
Style controls
These sit on Elementor’s Style tab and are responsive where it makes sense, so columns and gap can differ between desktop, tablet and phone.
- Layout — columns, gap, corner radius, and what a click opens.
- Background — gallery background, padding, and the colour behind each photo.
- Captions — position, both separators, text before and after the first line, arrangement, plus full Elementor typography and colour for the title line and the details line, and a caption backdrop for hover mode.
Anything left blank falls through to the saved display, so you only set what differs.
Widget or shortcode?
Use the widget when the gallery needs to respond to Elementor’s breakpoints, or when the styling belongs to the page rather than the display. Use the shortcode when the same look should appear on several pages and be changed in one place. Both find the same displays, and the usage list in the Displays sidebar sees both.
Pagination in the editor. The Elementor canvas caps how many items it draws to stay quick. Displays that paginate are exempt from that cap, because their per-page setting already keeps the canvas small. Setting Max items switches pagination off, in the editor and on the live page alike.
